Welcome to Rex Bot, your Ark Evolved sidekick on Discord. By interacting with Rex Bot (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

Use of Service

Rex Bot is provided free of charge for informational and entertainment purposes.
You may invite Rex Bot to any Discord server you own or manage.

License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Rex Bot subject to these Terms.

Modifications & Updates

Rex Bot's functionality and content may change at any time without notice.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind—express, implied, or statutory.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the authors or maintainers of Rex Bot be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete access to Rex Bot at our discretion, for any reason, including violations of these Terms.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rex Bot ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares your data when you interact with Rex Bot on Discord.

Data We Collect

Discord User ID and Locale (EN/DE) when you subscribe to reminders or briefings.
Subscription preferences (daily briefing, cycle reminders).

How We Use Your Data

To send automated DM reminders and daily briefings at 09:00 Europe/Berlin.
To look up your locale and display messages in English or German.

Data Retention

We retain subscription data until you explicitly unsubscribe via /flagreminder off or /dailybriefing off.

Sharing & Third Parties

We do NOT sell or share your personal data.
Rex Bot fetches flag-color data from our own Web API.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data by unsubscribing or by contacting us at privacy@owoa.eu.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy; the "Last updated" date will reflect any changes.

Rex Bot provides the following slash commands on any server where it's invited:

Command	Description
/flagcolor [which]	Show the current or next two-week flag color.
/flagreminder on\|off	Subscribe or unsubscribe to DM reminders at each cycle start.
/dailybriefing on\|off	Subscribe or unsubscribe to daily DM briefs at 09:00 Europe/Berlin.
/dinofact	Get a random Ark-themed dinosaur fact (supports EN/DE).
/help	List all available commands with short descriptions.
/about	Show version, website link, and creator info.
/hangman	Play a public, Ark-themed hangman game.
